Now for sale is this 2002 Holden Monaro V2 CV8 in Quicksilver with Red Hot leather trim with a genuine 133,717 Klms on the clock, with log books and service history. For sale from our Sydney Showroom.

Monaro Design boss Mike Simcoe and his team created the V2 Monaro, the first Monaro to hit our streets after an absence of 25 years. Following the overwhelming response of the public and media to the VT-based Holden CoupĂ© concept displayed at the 1998 Australian International Motor Show held in Sydney, the third generation of the Monaro was enthusiastically welcomed by the Aussie motoring public.

Delivered by Preston Motors, North Essendon, Victoria, this CV8 is presented in excellent condition throughout. Running the all matching numbers original pushrod all-American Generation III 5.7-litre V-8 in unmodified condition the CV8 features the four speed M30 heavy duty automatic gearbox and factory diff.

On the inside, the luscious Red Hot leather trim with contrasting colour coded dashboard is in very good condition. All the usual creature comforts of the CV8 are present and accounted for including ice cold Air conditioning, power steering, power windows and the factory radio and CD player. The CV8 comes with all owners manuals, log books, service history and two sets of keys.

The Monaro is riding the factory 18 x 8-inch 5-spoke alloy rims with 235/40ZR18 tyres along with a Spacesaver spare and tools.

There was never any doubt that this beautifully designed Coupe would be worthy of the famous Monaro appellation. And this unmodified CV8 in beautiful Quicksilver is a worthy addition to your Holden collection.

Located in our Sydney Showroom for your private inspection. (Ref: 6897)

Terms of sale

Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.

When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.

The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.

If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.

If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.

AMCS receives a fee of 8.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.

Insurance & Transport

Upon receipt of full cleared payment, the Buyer assumes responsibility for the Motor Vehicle and must arrange appropriate insurance cover from that time.

Any loss, theft, damage or incident occurring after full payment, including during transportation or delivery, is the Buyer's responsibility. All vehicle transportation is arranged through independent third-party transport carriers, and AMCS accepts no liability for any loss, damage or incident occurring during transport. The Buyer is responsible for ensuring appropriate transit insurance is in place.
