This is one tough sleeper. From the exterior, this looks like a mild mannered Holden Calais in unmarked Nickel Metallic Silver paint with equally immaculate interior. With only 92,085 km on the clock with owners log books and manuals plus two sets of keys, this Calais appears to be pretty stock other than the lowered suspension, King alloy Wheels and after market headlights and tail lights.
But pop the bonnet and this Calais reveals a different story. This has been a labour of love by the current owner to build a street sleeper that looks sedate but has plenty of go. Start the car and you immediately hear the wonderful whine of the G.M Supercharger. Dynoed at 524 hp the 6 Litre V8 also features a water to air intercooler, K&N air filter, a reconditioned gearbox with Ripshifter gear change and stock V8 diff.
Riding on unmarked King Wheel Alloy mags with 245/35ZR/20 front and 275/30ZR/20 rear Falken tyres.

Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.
When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.
The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.
If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.
If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.
AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
