Subsequently the original E49 engine from this car was destroyed during the race, The car has the same warranty replacement motor that has been in the car since Leslie Levings bought the car in 1973.

Les then campaigned the car in the StGeorge/Port Hacking Auto club sprint series and lap dash days at Catalina Park, Razor Back ,Oran Park and at Amaroo park during the seventies and early eighties, Les sold the car in 1988. The current ownner is 3rd down the line from that sale.
