1976 Holden LX Torana SLR 5000 A9X Tribute - 355ci 5sp Tremec - Acid Green
Race A9X and L34 Toranas in the hands of race legends such as Peter Brock, Colin Bond, Bob Morris and Jim Richards left an indelible mark on many Holden fans. So its little wonder that SL/R 5000 tributes are the second most replicated Aussie Muscle car behind the all conquering XY GT-HO Falcon.
One of the cleanest and best built Torys we have seen, this Acid Green example was ground up nut and bolt restored in 2019. The Tory has been fitted with A9X style flares as per the factory and A9X chrome bumpers fitted. The Torana is fitted with striking silver SLR 5000 stickers on the boot lid and satin blackout on the bonnet as per A9X specifications. The Torana was also treated to a full rubber kit. The interior has been fully retrimmed in Black Golf Ball trim with full SL/R instrumentation and steering wheel. All gauges have been recalibrated and the crash pad and dash restored.
Mechanically, the SL/R features a strong 450+ HP 355cui V8 engine with VN heads, Edelbrock performer manifold, roller rockers, 4BBL Pro Form 750 DP carby, 4 core aluminium radiator with twin thermo fans, MSD electronic ignition, HPC coated Pacemaker extractors, a TKO Tremec 5 speed gearbox with a heavy duty clutch and a strengthened Borg Warner diff with 3.5:1 ratio LSD. The Torana has covered a genuine 3,298 Klms since the full rebuild.
Riding on 14" Rallyee rims with Holden centre caps and hydraulic disc brakes up front and rear. The Tory has been fitted with all new suspension and the undercarriage fully detailed.
Here is an unique opportunity to secure one of the best built and fully sorted A9X SL/R 5000 A9X Tributes we have seen. When you want the best, there is no substitute for a quality build. And this one is second to none.

Terms of sale
Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.
When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.
The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.
If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.
If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.
AMCS receives a fee of 8.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
Insurance & Transport
Upon receipt of full cleared payment, the Buyer assumes responsibility for the Motor Vehicle and must arrange appropriate insurance cover from that time.
Any loss, theft, damage or incident occurring after full payment, including during transportation or delivery, is the Buyer's responsibility. All vehicle transportation is arranged through independent third-party transport carriers, and AMCS accepts no liability for any loss, damage or incident occurring during transport. The Buyer is responsible for ensuring appropriate transit insurance is in place.
