Now for sale a beautiful LX SLR 5000 tribute with A9X body kit. Presented in Palais White with Black interior sporting a 355 COME Racing built engine, T-5 manual gearbox and 9" diff. Located in our Sydney Showroom. 

This 1977 Holden Torana has been meticulously restored into a LX SLR 5000 tribute. A huge amount of effort has gone into building a super tight and well sorted SLR. Starting with a well maintained survivor, this well-preserved car required no rust repairs. 

The body was fitted with A9X-style flares and body kit alongside items specific to the LX SLR 5000 model. Following this, it underwent professional repainting in Palais White with gloss black SLR 5000 accents. Attention to detail includes working front spoiler air-ducts that direct air to the brakes as per the genuine A9X set up.  

The car's interior has been refurbished in black Golf Ball trim, featuring restored SLR dash, new carpeting, console, door cards and seats. It includes a Speed Hut digital dash with Green LED dash lights and a stereo with Pioneer Head unit, Kicker Speakers and Pioneer subwoofer. The SLR is also fitted with working under dash Air-conditioning and a period pop-up sunroof. 

Under the hood, is a dynoed 600 HP COME Racing built 355 stroker V8 featuring a street/drag cam, COME Racing heads, roller rockers, high volume oil pump, COME Racing match ported manifold and freshly tuned 750 Holley DP carburettor. Spark is provided by an MSD ignition and distributor and the radiator is kept cool with twin thermo fans. The Tory has covered approximately 5,000 km since the engine rebuild. 

Exhaust gases are released through ceramic coated Genie performance extractors and then through to a 2 3/4” stainless dual exhaust setup. The engine is matched with a T-5 manual gearbox and then to the rear wheels through a nine-inch differential equipped with a LSD centre and featuring 3.5 gears. The suspension has been lowered 2" with heavy duty anti roll bars, Koni shocks and springs and rear adjustable Airbags and top control arms to refine the suspension geometry. All steering components including ball joints, tie rod ends, and bushes have been replaced.

Enhancing its tough exterior is an aluminium strapless Brown and Davis 120L drop tank and a set of Koys 8"x15 front and 10"x15 rear rims wrapped in Pirelli Cintura P7 225/50/VR15 on the front tyres and Hankook Ventus 265/50/R15 on the rear. 

The Torana comes complete with an original owners manual, two sets of keys an immobiliser and alarm and a receipt file. 

On full NSW registration until May, 2026.

Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.

When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.

The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.

If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.

If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.

AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
