1980 Holden VC Commodore SL/E
The humble VC Holden Commodore SL/E. The car that many of us grew up in. Driven to rugby practice, on holidays and yes even to school. Sitting in the back being ferried around by Mum and Dad. Not many are left on the road nowadays. But they are now growing in value and desirability.
For sale is this very original Atlantis Blue Metallic VC SL/E Commodore running the original blue 202 6 cylinder engine and 3 speed Trimatic automatic gearbox. This is a good original car that has survived in unmodified condition with average condition paint, excellent trim, factory wheels and good chrome. This Commodore SL/E provides a great blank canvas to either tidy up and drive as is or modify the Commodore to suit your taste.
It does have its share of paint bruises and there is minor rust as can be identified in the photos. The Light blue velour trim including the door cards are in excellent condition with no cigarette burns or wear marks. The original carpet is in good condition with slight wear at driver entry point and the SL/E is showing an original 218,865 klms. This is a good genuine driver with new tyres.
Loaded with the normal SL/E luxuries of the day including power steering, Air conditioning and alloy wheels. The SL/E has had an after market stereo fitted. This is a great entry level classic Aussie cruiser to escape back to the 80s, the perfect car for club registration or a great project to turn into your dream street machine with a thumping big stroker 308 under the hood.
Located in the Northern suburbs of Melbourne, VIC.
