The HDT VK SS is the very epitome of Brock's genius. In Alpine White, with immaculate Scheel trim, this all matching numbers VK SS combines Brock's philosophy to perfectly blend power, handling and comfort to create the ultimate Aussie muscle car. To this end, Brock's '85 SS featured the Group A derived 304 cubic inch 4.9 litre engine, the trusty M21 4 speed, power steering, ice cold air conditioning, Scheel seats, Bilstein suspension, and the Brock Eurovox stereo.
This SS is all original under the bonnet running the correct 177kW V7X 4.9 litre V8, HDT with enhanced B cast heads, the factory 4 barrel Rochester Quadrajet carburettor and port matched inlet manifold, the HDT Cold Air induction system with chrome air cleaner lid, chrome rocker covers, factory M21 4 speed manual gearbox and 3.08 LSD differential.
Build No. 2970 VK SS was ordered in Alpine White without the HDT body kit making it more like a sleeper in the muscle carworld. The VK SS features the Brock police-spec fine increment speedometer and Momo/HDT steering wheel and gear knob.
Originally delivered by R&B Smith, Geelong, VIC, the car has covered a genuine 127,430 klms from new and has been recently resprayed from a rust and damage free body. The interior featuring the wonderful Scheel seats which have also been retrimmed in the factory specified cloth trim and presents like new.
Mechanically excellent with new shocks, springs, ball joints plus a full service changing all fluids. The VK SS has a new battery plus 5 new Dunlop tyres fitted to the original 15 x 7 inch HDT Aero directional rims. The original spare wheel with new tyres and original tools are also still in the boot.

Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.
When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.
The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.
If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.
If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.
AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
