SOLD  $POA
Australian Muscle Car Sales is proud to support Graham and Sharon Brown, fundraising for Prostate Council Foundation of Australia charity and who have entered their 1972 GTR XU-1 Torana into the 50th Anniversary Around Australia Tour. This amazing event celebrates the career of National and International race driver Peter Brock (1946 - 2006) who famously won the annual Bathurst Classic a record nine times!

Brock's first win in 1972 was in a GTR XU-1 Torana, the vehicle identical to those entered into the Around Australia event. With 12 other Toranas participating this year it's sure to be a great trip covering a HUGE 12,000km trip, These classic vehicles (now over 50 years old) will complete their trip over 22 days. What a trip! The 12,000 kilometres travelled for the Around Australia Rally (ROUND THE BLOCK FOR BROCK) starts September 14th with cars returning to Bathurst for October 5th 2022.

The second element of this mammoth event will be completion of the 2022 Bathurst 1000 starting October 6th and finishing October 9th 2022. Fun for all fans, especially GTR XU-1 enthusiasts is sure to be had - with an additional 80 Torana GTR XU-1s onsite for this iconic event, with plenty of trackside displays, functions, on track parades and much more!

Terms of sale

Vehicles offered for sale through AMCS are the responsibility of the Owner / Seller. AMCS acts as the Seller's agent and relies fully on the information provided by the Seller of the vehicle in the advertising and sale of each vehicle. AMCS takes no responsibility for the accuracy or veracity of the information provided by the Seller.

When a Buyer wishes to speak to the owner or inspect a vehicle listed for sale on the AMCS web site, AMCS will request a copy of the potential buyers driver's license or a business card along with an email address and phone number. This is provided to the seller as confirmation of the legitimacy of the buyer and the seller is then asked to contact the potential buyer to discuss the car and set up an inspection if required.

The Buyer must make his own enquiries and inspections regarding the condition, authenticity and veracity of the vehicle and any statements made by the Seller, and satisfy themselves in all aspects prior to purchasing the car from the Seller. The Buyer understands there is no warranty or guarantee offered by either the Seller or AMCS.

If upon inspection the Buyer is not satisfied with the car for any reason and does not wish to proceed with the purchase the owner is advised and any personal details are deleted from AMCS records.

If the Buyer is satisfied with the car and a price is agreed to with the Seller a formal tax invoice is prepared by AMCS and sent to the Buyer for payment to the AMCS audited Trust Account. AMCS also receives a formal Bill of Sale from the owner stating the car is free of encumbrance and noting banking details for the transaction. Once AMCS receives the total payment cleared into its trust account a transfer is then made to the Seller.

AMCS receives a fee of 7.5% (incl. GST) of the sale price for assisting the Seller to sell the vehicle. There is no fee or Buyer's premium charged to the Buyer.
